The Chemical Modifications view identifies crosslinkers by name.
You can use predefined XlinkX chemical modifications from Unimod in your searches.
Procedure
- To open the Chemical Modifications view, do one of the following:
- Select Administration > Maintain Chemical Modifications.
- Select Maintain Chemical Modifications
. - Verify that the crosslinker that you want to use is listed in the Chemical Modifications view.
The crosslinkers predefined during installation are included in the modification lists for the search engine that you select.
