Within one week of you ordering the software, Thermo MS Licensing sends an email containing the permanent license key.

Procedure

  1. In the Proteome Discoverer application, select Administration > Manage Licenses.
  2. On the Administration page, select Activate to open the License Activation dialog box.
  3. In the Activation Code boxes, enter the license key from the licensing email.

  4. NOTE

    The licensing email has the subject line Your Order Is Ready.

  5. Select Online Activation.
  7. The XlinkX software is permanently licensed after activation.

If your computer is not connected to the Internet, refer to the information on License Management in the Proteome Discoverer User Guide.

If you have issues with licensing, send an email to thermoMSLicensing@thermofisher.com. Include a short description of the problem and the XlinkX 3.1 activation code.
