Drain pump tubing is leaking or damaged (see Testing the Drain Pump Tubing)
Parts required
Replacement peristaltic tubing for the drain pump
2 elbow tubing connectors for condensation tubing and waste tubing
Tools required
Tubing cutter (optional)
Preparations
Turn off the drain pump.
Disconnect the waste tubing and the condensation tubing from the tubing connectors on the drain pump tubing (peristaltic tubing). Leave the tubing connectors connected to the peristaltic tubing.
Unpack the replacement peristaltic tubing and the elbow tubing connectors.
Connect the elbow tubing connectors to both ends of the replacement peristaltic tubing.
Follow these steps
Push the pump lever on the drain pump upward, and hold it in this position with one hand.
With your other hand, unwind the installed peristaltic tubing from the drain pump rotor and remove the peristaltic tubing from the drain pump. Release the pump lever.
Check that the replacement peristaltic tubing has the same length as the installed tubing. If required, cut the replacement peristaltic tubing to length with the tubing cutter.
Push the replacement peristaltic tubing into the tubing holders. Check that the tubing is properly inserted in the holders.
Push the pump lever on the drain pump upward. Insert the replacement peristaltic tubing between the pump lever and drain pump rotor and wind it around the rotor.
Release the pump lever.
Connect the waste tubing and the condensation tubing to the tubing connectors on the peristaltic tubing.
Turn on the drain pump to check proper functionality.
