This section is a guide to troubleshooting issues that may arise during operation of the Vanquish Neo system.

It provides information on symptoms and causes directly related to the LC system modules. For information on general chromato­graphy and application troubleshooting, refer to the technical literature.

The Vanquish User Interface provides some scripts for troubleshooting the system.

Error state: One or more LED bars are red and the Vanquish User Interface shows that the system is in error state.

1. Run the script: B04 - System Self-Test.

2. Check whether the overall system health status is ok (icon is green).

3. If not, check the notification panel for messages and resolve the problem (see Messages).

System settings do not match

To set the system or single system modules to factory default values, run the script: E02 - Reset System Factory Defaults.

System settings could not be retrieved and the system could not be initialized properly

Run the script with the parameters appropriate for your configuration and workflow: E01 - Initialize System Setup.

Procedure of changing the fluidics or the workflow (A06 - Change Fluidics / Workflow) was not completed successfully and only a few scripts are available
