Follow these steps
CAUTION
Hot surfaces
The column compartment and pre-heater may be hot. Touching hot parts might cause burns. Allow the column compartment and the pre-heater to cool down before starting the service procedure.
Disconnect the outlet capillary of the passive pre-heater from the column inlet.
Disconnect the inlet capillary of the passive pre-heater from the autosampler or a column switching valve.
With the screwdriver, loosen the two screws and washers on the passive pre-heater and remove the passive pre-heater.
Mount the new passive pre-heater in the column chamber. See Installing the Passive Pre-Heater.
