To create a favorite state

Procedure

1. In the Tune window, modify the parameters in the Ion Source or Define Scan pane.
2. Select Apply or Export.
3. Select the Favorites tab to display the Favorites pane.

4. 

4. Select Save Current State, and then type a unique name in the box.

5. 

5. Select Save Current State again to save the state.
6. The new favorite state appears first in the Favorites list. You can enter up to 100 states.

To load settings only or apply a favorite state

Procedure

1. Under User Settings, right-click the state name, and then choose one of the following:
1. Load—to only display the key parameters in the applicable parameter boxes.
2. Apply—to submit the key parameters to the MS.

To rename a favorite state

Procedure

1. Under User Settings, right-click the state name, and then select Rename.
2. Type a different name and press ENTER.

To delete a favorite state

Procedure

3. Under User Settings, right-click the state name, and then select Delete.
