Clean the air filter located behind the front cover of the MS every four months, or sooner if it is dirty.

NOTE

You do not need to remove the API source to remove the front cover of the MS.

Procedure

  1. Disconnect the plumbing tubing to the API source.
  2. Remove the air filter as follows:
  3. Depress the four spring catches that are located on both sides of the front cover.
  4. Spring catches on the right side (left side not shown)

  5. Pull the front cover off at an angle to clear the API source.
  6. Remove the filter from the filter bracket.
  7. Wash the air filter in a solution of soap and water.
  8. Rinse the filter with tap water and allow it to air dry.
  9. Reinstall the air filter and front cover.
  10. Reconnect the plumbing tubing.
