Remove the MP00 assembly, the RF lens, and the exit lens from the source interface
Procedure
- Wearing clean, lint-free and powder-free gloves, use a 2-mm Allen wrench to loosen and extend (if captive) or remove the two Allen screws that secure the exit lens, the MP00 multipole, and the L0 lens to the cage.
NOTE
- In the TSQ Endura and TSQ Quantiva and older versions of the TSQ Altis and TSQ Quantis, two captive screws secure the MP00 assembly to the cage.
- In newer versions of the TSQ Altis and TSQ Quantis and all versions of the TSQ Altis Plus and TSQ Quantis Plus, you can remove the two Allen screws from the cage.
- Pull the MP00 assembly off of the cage, and place the assembly on a clean, lint-free surface.
- The following figure shows the location of the multipole and the two Allen screws that secure the exit lens, the MP00 multipole, and L0 lens to the cage.

Exit lens
- If the Allen screws are captive, grasp them and carefully pull the RF lens with the exit lens straight out of the cage. Otherwise, push the RF lens out of the cage.
- Separate the exit lens from the RF lens. Place both on a clean surface.
- Using the L0 lens removal tool (or plastic tweezers), rotate the L0 lens to free it from the assembly, and then push the MP00 multipole out of the mount cage. Place the components on a clean surface.
