A TSQ Series II MS is a relatively compact instrument that sits on a laboratory workbench or table capable of supporting twice the weight of the MS and any installed hardware (for example, the ion source, the syringe pump, the divert/inject valve, and the optional FAIMS interface). The MS by itself weighs 131 kg (289 lb).
