Procedure

  1. Select the Scan Parameters tab.
  2. Select the Quan View icon.
  3. Double-click a scan type icon or drag it to the "Place Scan Here" node.
  4. The scan parameters appear in a table format with additional parameters in the right-side properties pane.
  5. In the right-side properties pane, select to add that parameter to the scan table, as applicable.
  6. This allows you to have compound-specific settings, rather than settings that apply to the entire list (global settings).
  7. Select again to remove that parameter from the scan table, if applicable.

NOTE

  • Hover the pointer over a parameter name to display its tool tip description.
  • When you change the value of a parameter, it appears in bold. A red table cell or red border around a parameter box indicates that the set value is out of range. Point to the parameter box to display the valid range.
  • Select the Summary tab to view the instrument method settings.
