  • Biweekly
    • Day: Specifies the day (Sunday to Saturday) the routine will start
    • Time: Specifies the time of day the routine will start
  • Monthly
    • Day: Specifies the day (1 to 28) the routine will start
    • Time: Specifies the time of day the routine will start

The monthly option allows a selection from 1 to 28 days regardless of the month. If the system self-check is scheduled at 12 am for the 1st of the month, the setup will occur 10 minutes before the scheduled time on the 28th of the previous month.

NOTE Thermo Fisher Scientific recommends that you include a shutdown method at the end of every sequence that uses an LC workflow when scheduling Auto-Ready calibrations with the Self-Check feature. The Self-Check process automatically adjusts system settings, such as the source gases, temperature settings, and so on.

Include the following actions in the shutdown method:

  • Set the vaporizer temperature to under 20 °C
  • Set the LC flow rate to under 10 µL/min
  • Set source gases to minimal levels, which helps reduce source housing dryness
