The Auto-Ready calibration solution vial requires periodic replacement when the FlexMix calibration solution falls below a minimum level, which is continuously monitored and reported by the Tune application. You can view the current solution level from the Calibration pane (Status area).

Be aware where you place your hands when you remove and replace the calibration solution vial.
IMPORTANT
- To prevent contamination of the FlexMix calibration solution, follow these guidelines:
- Do not refill used FlexMix vials.
- Properly dispose the used FlexMix vial according to the directions in the MSDS or SDS.
Replace the old calibration solution vial with a new (unopened), fresh, and pre-filled FlexMix vial.
Do not touch the top of a new FlexMix vial.
NOTE
No tools are required to remove and replace the calibration solution vial.

Prerequisites
- Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as a lab coat, safety glasses, and chemical resistant gloves.
Procedure
- Open the Auto-Ready enclosure door.
- Rotate the locking lever 90° in the outwards direction to unlock the vial.

- Clasp the top of the FlexMix vial and pull up to remove it.
- Replace the used FlexMix vial with a new prefilled (unopened) vial and verify that the vial is fully seated.
IMPORTANT
Do not do not touch the exposed PEEK plunger when replacing the vial.
- Place one finger on top of the plunger assembly plate and push the PEEK plunger down until it punctures the new FlexMix vial membrane.
- Continue pushing the PEEK plunger down into the vial until the assembly makes contact and is flush with the vial top.
- Rotate the locking lever 90° inwards to lock the vial in place.
