The History pane contains a history preview area and a history logs area. All changes made to the instrument state that originate from the Tune application are logged in this pane. A change record is automatically created each time you modify a parameter in the Ion Source pane or the Define Scan pane. The record is created after you apply and save the changes. The change record is displayed as a sub-item under the date when it was created and has a maximum limit of 100 change records.
NOTE
A change record is inactive if the source type of the change record differs from the current source type.

Procedure
- If the Status tab, History tab, and Favorites tab are not visible on the right of the window, select the expand icon to show the tabs.
- Select History to open the History pane.
- Do any of the following:
- - You can preview (in the History preview area) a change record's parameters by single-clicking the record. Parameters that are in bold differ from their currently set values.
- - You can display (in the Ion Source pane or the Define Scan pane) a change record’s parameters by either double-clicking the record or right-clicking it and selecting Load.
- - You can submit a change record’s parameters to the MS by either double-clicking the record or by right-clicking it and selecting Apply. Applying the change creates a new change record.
