The following table describes the LED indicators on the front panel.

LED Indicator Descriptions

LED	State	Description
Power	Green	(The Electronics switch is in the Operating Mode position.) The MS is receiving power.
Power	Off	(The Electronics switch is in the Service Mode position.) The MS is not receiving full power for operation. CAUTION Line power (220 Vac) to the MS is still present and there are high voltages within certain areas of the instrument.
System	Green	The MS is in On mode and scanning.
	Yellow	The MS is in Standby mode.
	Off	The MS is in Off mode.
Vacuum	Green	The vacuum is within the allowable operating range.
	Yellow	The vacuum is outside the allowable operating range.
	Off	The MS is either powered off or in the process of starting up.
Communication	Green	The MS and data system are communicating.
	Yellow	The MS and data system are trying to establish a communication link.
	Off	(The Electronics switch is in the Service Mode position) The MS is in Off mode.
Scan	Flashing blue	The MS is in On mode and scanning.
Scan	Off	The MS is either in Standby mode or Off mode and not scanning.
