The instrument installation includes essential tasks such as connecting the forepump to the vacuum system, routing the drainage system, establishing gas connections, installing a syringe pump and optional divert/inject valve, and connecting cables and powers cords. Additionally, it covers the integration of external devices, setting up the API source, checking the Auto-Ready enclosure, and connecting inlet plumbing to ensure a smooth and efficient installation process.
NOTE
The full installation of the MS is always performed by a Thermo Fisher Scientific service engineer. Numerous hardware components undergo installation and setup during the instrument installation process.
