If you installed the WebAPI Service version and want to revert to the previous Legacy version, do the following:

Procedure

  1. To uninstall the WebAPI Service, do either of the following:
  2. Double-click the WebAPI Service Setup.exe and select Uninstall.
  3. In the search field, enter Add or remove programs and select the System Settings app. In the list of apps and features, select SampleManager Chromeleon Link and select Uninstall.
  4. Uninstall successfully completed.
  5. Re-enable the Windows Service of the Legacy web API.

To enable the Windows Service of the Legacy web API, do the following:

Procedure

  1. In the search field, enter Services.
  2. Select the Services App.
  3. Right-click the Chromeleon Web API service and select Properties.
  4. On the General tab, under Startup Type, select Automatic.
  5. Select Apply.
  6. Under Service Status, select Start to start the service.
