If issues arise during the installation, make sure all prerequisites are met and the correct versions of SampeManager LIMS and Chromeleon CDS are installed. Refer to the detailed installation steps and verify the installation and configuration of each component.
If the service fails to start, check the log files for errors:
- The log files for the WebAPI can be found under %PROGRAMDATA%\Thermo\ChromeleonLink\logs\.
- Change the logging verbosity by editing the files \SdkApp\NLog.config and \WebAPI\appsettings.json under the installation directory. The default installation directory is %PROGRAMFILES%\Thermo\ChromeleonLink.
If the service cannot log in to the Chromeleon CDS due to invalid or changed credentials, you must uninstall the WebAPI Service and re-install it to enter new credentials during setup.
