After you have enabled automated processing for your Proteome Discoverer processing PC, modify the number of concurrent processing and consensus workflows that can be run concurrently. The Ardia Advanced Tower Server can run up to 20 concurrent CHIMERYS analyses and the processing PC must support an equal number of concurrent processing workflows to make use of the full capacity.

NOTE

Setting a high number of concurrent processing workflows requires a powerful data processing PC for automated processing. Thermo Fisher Scientific recommends a processing PC that has at least 56 cores and 256 GB of memory.

Prerequisites

  1. You have enabled automated processing for your processing PC, see Configure automated processing for instructions.

Procedure

  1. Select Administration > Configuration.
  2. Under Server Settings, select Parallel Job Execution.
  3. Set the following parameters:
  4. For Max. Number of Processing Workflows in Parallel Execution set the parameters to 20.
  5. For Max. Number of Consensus Workflows in Parallel Execution set the parameter to 4.
  6. For Max. Number of Concurrent I/O Operations set the parameter to 4.
  7. Select Apply.
