NOTE
Make sure that Xcalibur 4.7 is connected to the Ardia Platform before starting the setup.

Prerequisites
- You must register Proteome Discoverer prior to registering for automated processing. See Register on the Ardia Server.
- Xcalibur 4.7 must be connected to the Ardia Platform before starting.
Procedure
- Open the Xcalibur data system.
- Select Ardia Platform in the Roadmap View.
- Select Open in the Xcalibur Registration card.
- The Ardia Platform Registration dialog box opens.
- Enter the Platform URL and Registration Code. To find the URL and code, do the following:
- Open a browser and navigate to the Ardia Platform Home page on the Ardia Advanced Tower Server.
- Select the Client Registration and Management card.
- The Actions view opens.
- Select + Add Registration Code in the upper right corner of the Actions view.
- The You have added the registration code successfully dialog box opens.
- Select Copy to copy the Platform URL.
- Return to the Xcalibur data system and paste the URL in the Platform URL box.
- Return to the Ardia Platform browser and select Copy to copy the Registration Code.
- Return to the Xcalibur data system and paste the code in the Registration Code box.
- Select Continue.
- The registration is successful.
- Select Close.
- Sign in to the Ardia Platform.
- Select My Account in the upper right corner and select Sign In.
- In the Xcalibur data system, select Sequence Setup View in the View toolbar.
- Two new options are now available in the Data Repository area.
- In the Data Repository area, select the Ardia Platform option.
- In the Data Repository area, select the Ardia Platform processing with Proteome Discoverer software option.
- The following three new columns appear: Processing Method, Quantification Method, and Results Path.
- From the Processing Method dropdown list and select the processing method.
- The list contains all of the analysis templates that you saved for automated processing. If the computer is on a shared server, you will also see templates created on other computers.
- From the Quantification Method dropdown list, select the quantification method.
- Double-click the Path column.
- The Sequence Selector dialog box opens.
- Select a folder or create a new folder where your raw data will be stored.
- To create a new folder, select New folder.
- A new row appears.
- Enter a name for the folder and double-click the row.
- The folder opens.
- Enter a sequence name in the Sequence Name box.
