To use the Ardia Server functionality, you must register your processing PC to the Ardia server.
Prerequisites
- You have activated your Proteome Discoverer license. See Managing the application licenses.
- You have activated your Ardia license for Proteome Discoverer. See Licensing the Ardia features in the Proteome Discoverer software.
Procedure
- On the Windows desktop, double-click Proteome Discoverer .
- The Start Page opens.
- Do one of the following:
- Select Ardia Server > Register on Ardia Server
- In the Ardia Server Management menu, select Server Registration.
- The Ardia Server Registration window opens.
- Select Register.
- The Ardia Platform Registration dialog box opens.
- In the Ardia Server URL box, enter the Ardia URL.
- Select Register.
- Close Proteome Discoverer and reopen the application.
- Proteome Discoverer automatically opens the Ardia Platform in a web browser with a single sign-on. See Sign in to the Ardia Platform.
- You can now open a study in the Proteome Discoverer application.
- (Optional) To adjust the number of download/upload attempts, do the following:
- Select Ardia Server > Server Registration.
- In the Configuration area, enter the number of download/upload attempts.
NOTE
The default is 3.
