Procedure
- Choose Tools > Options.
- Select Fragment Match Colors and Fonts.
NOTE
The application automatically chooses the fragment match colors of PTMs and neutral loss ions on the basis of the colors of the ion series that they belong to.
- The following figure shows the Fragment Match Colors and Fonts page of the Options dialog box.
- In the Ion Series and PTMs areas, select the foreground (FG) or background (BG) color bar next to the ion whose match color you want to change.
- The Color dialog box opens.
- Create a custom color as follows:
- Select Define Custom Colors to display the custom colors palette.
- The custom colors palette opens.
- Select a color in the custom colors palette.
- Select Add to Custom Colors to add the color to the Custom Colors area.
- Select a color.
- In the Font area of the Fragment Match Colors and Fonts page, set the following options:
- Select the Use Subscripts checkbox to specify that subscripts be used in ion names.
- By default, the application uses subscripts.
- In the Font box, select the font to use to display annotations and views.
- In the Font Size box, select the size of the font for displaying annotations and views.
- The default size is 14.
- Select OK.
