You can freeze (or lock) a chromatogram to compare it to another chromatogram.
Procedure
- Display the first chromatogram in the Chromatogram Traces view.
- Right-click the view and select Plots > Freeze Content.
- Create another chromatogram. See Add a plot in the Chromatogram Traces view.
- The new chromatogram appears in the view alongside the first chromatogram. In the following example, the two chromatograms are adjusted for scale.
- The following image is an example of two chromatograms, one of which is frozen.
- (Optional) To release a frozen chromatogram, right-click and select Plots > Clear Frozen Content.
