You can freeze (or lock) a chromatogram to compare it to another chromatogram.

Procedure

  1. Display the first chromatogram in the Chromatogram Traces view.
  3. Right-click the view and select Plots > Freeze Content.
  4. Create another chromatogram. See Add a plot in the Chromatogram Traces view.
  5. The new chromatogram appears in the view alongside the first chromatogram. In the following example, the two chromatograms are adjusted for scale.
  7. The following image is an example of two chromatograms, one of which is frozen.
  9. (Optional) To release a frozen chromatogram, right-click and select Plots > Clear Frozen Content.
