Viewing apex-aligned traces might be useful when you are interested in what the peak looks like, whether replicates cluster together, and whether there is a clear separation between conditions.

NOTE

The consensus workflow must include the Feature Mapper node for the commands in this topic to work.

Procedure

  1. Select the Peptide Groups or Consensus Features tab in an open result file.
  2. Select the row or rows on the appropriate page.
  3. You can select one or multiple traces.
  4. Select View > Chromatogram Traces View, or select Chromatogram Traces View .
  5. To display a trace or traces without alignment, do one of the following:
  6. Right-click the plot and selectDisplay Options > Show Unaligned.
  7. To display a trace or traces with chromatographic alignment derived from the Feature Mapper node, right-click the plot and select Display Options > Show RT-Aligned.
  8. To display a trace or traces with chromatographic alignment derived from manual recalculation in the Chromatogram Traces view, right-click the plot and select Display Options > Show RT- and (Group-) Apex Aligned.
