Procedure

  1. Right-click the Chromatogram Traces view and select Plots > Add Plot.
  2. The new empty plot appears below the original plot.
  3. Select the new plot, and then select the row containing the data that you want to plot.
  4. The appropriate trace fills the plot.
  5. (Optional) To draw a different type of plot for the same row of data, do the following:
  6. Select Plots > Add Plot.
  7. Select the new plot.
  8. Select a different row of data, and then select the original row of data.
  9. Only the screen size of your computer monitor limits the maximum number of plots that you can add to the Chromatogram Traces view. When you exceed the maximum number of plots, the plots disappear from the view.
  10. In a Chromatogram Traces view with more than one plot, a light blue bar on the left border highlights the active plot. In the following figure, the pale blue bar on the bottom left indicates the active plot.

  12. (Optional) To remove a plot from the Chromatogram Traces view, right-click the Chromatogram Traces view and select Plots > Remove Plot.
