You can filter your search for specific amino acids in a specific position. The following procedure is an example.

Procedure

  1. Open a result file, and then select the tab of the page that you want to view.
  2. Select View > Display Filter, or select the Display Filter .
  3. The Display Filter pane opens at the top of the results file .
  4. Select Add property.
  5. A dropdown with a list of properties opens.
  6. Select Sequence property from the dropdown menu.
  7. In the pink box, set the condition to “Matches Pattern” or “Contains Pattern.”
  8. The “Matches Pattern” operator searches for a pattern starting at the beginning of a text field, whereas the “Contains Pattern” operator searches anywhere in the text field for a pattern.
  9. In the white box, enter the value that includes wild card characters (* and ?) for the filter.
  10. The ‘*’ means an arbitrary number of any character. The ‘?’ means an arbitrary character.
  11. Select Apply.
