Procedure

1. In an open study, create a consensus workflow. For instructions, see Create a workflow.
2. In the Workflow Editor, select the Consensus Workflow tab.
3. Drag the Display Settings node to the Post-Processing pane.
4. Select the Display Settings node.
5. Select the Browse button (...) next to the Layout Definition parameter.
6. The Parameter Text for Layout Definition (Readonly) dialog box opens.

6. Select Load File.
7. In the Open dialog box, locate the layout file that you want to load, and select Open.
8. You can find default layouts or layouts that you have already defined in the following folder:
9. C:\Users\Public\Documents\Thermo\Proteome Discoverer 3.1\Common Templates\Layouts
8. In the Parameter Text for Layout Definition dialog box, select OK.
9. The new layout replaces the default layout.
9. Run the consensus workflow.
