Use the Manage Layouts dialog box to rename, add, or remove a layout. You can add any layout file to the list of available layouts. Adding a layout applies only to the open report.

Rename a layout

Procedure

  1. Do one of the following:
  2. Select View > Layout Selector.
  3. Select Layout Selector .
  4. The Layout Selector dialog box opens above the selected result page.
  5. Select Manage Layouts.
  6. In the Manage Layouts dialog box, select the name of the layout file to rename.
  7. Select Rename.
  8. In the Rename Layout dialog box, enter the new name.
  9. Select Rename.

Add a layout file to the layout list

Procedure

  1. Do one of the following:
  2. Select View > Layout Selector.
  3. Select Layout Selector .
  4. The Layout Selector dialog box opens above the selected result page.
  5. Select Manage Layouts.
  6. In the Manage Layouts dialog box, select Add Layout File.
  7. The Import Layout dialog box opens.
  8. Locate the layout file to add and select it, or enter the name of the file in the File Name box.
  9. The file extension is .pdLayout.
  10. Select Open.

Remove a layout file from the layout list

Procedure

  1. Do one of the following:
  2. Select View > Layout Selector.
  3. Select Layout Selector .
  4. The Layout Selector dialog box opens above the selected result page.
  5. Select Manage Layouts.
  6. In the Manage Layouts dialog box, select the name of the layout file to remove.
  7. Select Remove from List.
