Procedure

1. Select View > Layout Selector, or select Layout Selector .
2. The Layout Selector area appears below the page name.
3. When you open a freshly generated result file, the active layout is named Original Result Layout in the Active Layout box.
2. From the Active Layout List, select the name of the layout to use.
3. Each installation includes some predefined layouts that you can use. You can copy them to and from the following standard directory:
4. C:\Users\Public\Documents\Thermo\Proteome Discoverer 3.1\Common Templates\Layouts

5. NOTE

   The root directory of the Proteome Discoverer application might change if you select a different installation target directory when you install the application.

6. The application automatically includes any layout file in this directory in the Active Layout list in the Layout Selector area.
7. The application applies the selected layout to all pages of the open result file.
