Procedure

1. Select the Custom option from the dropdown list below the operator.
3. The Custom option opens the Custom Filter dialog box, so you can add multiple conditions.

2. Select Add.
3. A new line appears in the Operator (left) and Operand (right) lists.
3. Select an operator from the Operator list.
4. Enter an operand on the line in the Operand column.
5. In the Filter Based On list, do one of the following:
1. Select the All option to indicate whether the search algorithm should search for protein references that meet both conditions.
2. Select the Any option to indicate whether the search algorithm should search for protein references that meet only one of the conditions.
3. The following figure gives an example of a search for protein references that meet both of the conditions.

6. Select OK.
