You can edit the setting of the Annotation server that retrieves the protein annotations.

For information regarding changing the Annotation Server URL that is used with other annotation sources, such as ProteinCard, see Edit the Annotation Source URLs.

Procedure

  1. Select Administration > Configuration.
  2. Select Annotation Server.
  3. The Annotation Server area appears on the page.
  4. Do the following:
  5. In the Annotation Server URL box, enter the URL of the annotation service.
  6. In the Number of Attempts to Submit the Annotation Request, specify the number of times the application attempts to query the Annotation Server.
  7. In the Time Interval Between Attempts to Submit the Annotation Request [sec], specify the interval of time, in seconds, that elapses between attempts to submit a search when the Annotation Server is busy.
  8. In the Timeout of the Annotation Request [min], specify the amount of time, in minutes, that elapses before the application ceases to try to access the Annotation Server when the server is busy.
  9. Select Apply.
