Procedure

1. To open the Proteome Discoverer application, on the Windows desktop, double-click Proteome Discoverer , or search for the Proteome Discoverer application from the Windows Start menu.
2. The Proteome Discoverer Start Page opens.
3. For information on the features of the Proteome Discoverer interface and how to customize them, see the Using the Proteome Discoverer interface Help topic.

4. NOTE

   For Thermo Scientific™ Ardia™ Platform users, after you activate your Ardia Server license, you will notice new application menus, new toolbar icons, new dropdown list in studies, and so on. For more information on Proteome Discoverer powered by Ardia, see the Proteome Discoverer powered by Ardia chapter.

2. To close the Proteome Discoverer application, select File > Exit, or select the X in the upper-right corner of the application.
