A change in a study since the last time it was saved is indicated with an asterisk (*) on the study name tab.
NOTE
Studies and analyses in the Proteome Discoverer application are separate and must be saved separately. Saving a study does not save an analysis that has not been run.
The application includes an autosave setting that saves a study and its results when you run an analysis. (This setting is recommended and set by default.) To change this setting or confirm that it is selected, see Configuring General Preferences.
