A RAW data file contains the data collected for at least a single sample. In the case of sample multiplexing, which uses isobaric or metabolic labeling, there can be the data for multiple samples in the same RAW file.
If you select a quantification method for a file, the application generates a sample name that is composed of the raw data file name and the quantification channel name. You can change this default sample name, but you cannot duplicate sample names in the study.
