You can use the job queue to check on your search status and to control your search progress. It displays the status of any previously run or currently running searches in a session. You can also use the job queue to open previously run search reports. After you set up and start the search project, you can check the status of your search or remove search results. The job queue displays the search name, the raw data file name, the date that the search was submitted, and the progress of the search and its status.
In the job queue, you can do the following:
- Check the status of a search and the results.
- Refresh its status.
- Review job details.
- Promote a job
- Abort a search.
- Open a results report.
- Open a study.
- Display verbose messages.
You can also monitor job execution in the Proteome Discoverer Daemon utility when you want to perform multiple searches on multiple raw data files. For instructions on this procedure, see Using the Proteome Discoverer Daemon utility.
The job queue automatically appears when the application begins processing a workflow, but you can also open it at any time.
