You can create a workflow that exports raw data to MGF, MZDATA, and MZML files. You can export in a single format or multiple formats.

Special Processing Workflow Nodes and Node Settings

The processing workflow must include the Spectrum Exporter node.

A Spectrum Exporter node exports in a single format according to its Export Format parameter setting. To export to multiple formats in a single workflow, add a Spectrum Exporter node for each format.

To more closely inspect different spectrum processing steps in a workflow, attach the Spectrum Exporter node to every node that creates, modifies, or outputs spectra.

For example, you can add the Spectrum Exporter node to the Spectrum Selector node, the Spectrum Filter node, and the Spectrum Processing node.

Special Consensus Workflow Nodes and Node Settings

When you only export spectra, you do not create a consensus workflow. You can delete the consensus workflow after creating a new analysis.

Further Information

From an open result file, you can also use the File > Export > Spectra command to export data to MGF, MZDATA, and MZML files.

For more information on the Spectrum Exporter node, see the Spectrum Exporter node in the Proteome Discoverer Help.
