The following table lists the parameters that you can use to specify the number of processing workflows and consensus workflows to execute at the same time.

Parallel Job Execution parameters

Parameter

Definition

Max. Number of Processing Workflows in Parallel Execution

Specifies the number of processing workflows to execute in parallel.

Default: 1; range: 1–half the number of dual-processor cores on your computer

For example, if your computer has a dual-core processor with hyperthreading, it has four logical cores. In this case, the value of the Max. Number of Processing Workflows in Parallel Execution parameter is 2 (half of 4).

Max. Number of Consensus Workflows in Parallel Execution

Specifies the number of consensus workflows to execute in parallel.

Default: 1; range: 1–half the number of dual-processor cores on your computer

For example, if your computer has a dual-core processor with hyperthreading, it has four logical cores. In this case, the value of the Max. Number of Consensus Workflows in Parallel Execution parameter is 2 (half of 4).
