In the Cleavage Reagents view, you can explore the default types of reagents and their corresponding settings. The Cleavage Reagents view contains the cleavage sites, cleavage inhibitors, abbreviations, and cleavage specificities. You can also add, remove, and modify the reagents and their corresponding settings.

Display the Cleavage Reagents view

Procedure

  1. Select Administration > Maintain Cleavage Reagents.
  2. The Cleavage Reagents view opens.

Add a cleavage reagent

Procedure

  1. Select the Name column cell, and select Click Here To Add a New Record.
  2. Modify the default values in the row of that new reagent.
  3. Select Apply.

Delete a cleavage reagent

Procedure

  1. Select row of the reagent that you want to delete.
  2. SelectRemove, and then select Yes in the confirmation box.

Modify a cleavage reagent

Procedure

  1. Select the column for the reagent, select the current contents, and enter the new information.
  2. Select Apply.

Filter cleavage reagent data

Procedure

  1. Select Filter , next to the header of the column.
  2. Select one of the following:
  3. All: Returns the filtered search results to the results that were first loaded.
  4. Custom: Opens the Custom Filter dialog box. For information about using this type of dialog box, see Custom Filter dialog box parameters in the Proteome Discoverer Help.
  5. Blanks: Filters out rows that have data-filled cells in the column whose Filter icon you selected.
  6. NonBlanks: Filters out rows that have empty cells in the column whose Filter icon you selected.
