You can only delete FASTA indexes that have the Auto Remove checkbox selected.
NOTE
Because the FASTA index might be used in some calculations, the application does not remove it until the next time the server starts. However, the index no longer appears in the FASTA Indexes Table.
Procedure
- Select the Auto Remove checkbox for one or more indexes that you want to delete.
- Select the row of the index that you want to delete.
- Select Remove.
- In the Remove FASTA Indexes confirmation box, select OK.
- The name of the deleted index is removed from the FASTA Indexes table and appears in a separate Deleted FASTA Indexes table.
