If you do not want to store the FASTA indexes in the default directory, you can specify an alternate directory in the FASTA Indexes Configuration view. You can also change the maximum number of stored FASTA indexes.

Procedure

  1. Select Administration > Configuration.
  2. Under Server Settings, select FASTA Indexes.
  3. The FASTA Indexes Configuration view opens.
  4. In the New Directory box, select (...) to browse.
  5. In the Browse for Folder dialog box, select the new location for the FASTA Index Directory, and select OK.
  7. In the New Maximum Number of FASTA Indexes box, select the maximum number of FASTA indexes that you want to store.
  8. If you generate more FASTA indexes than the number that you entered in the New Maximum Number of FASTA Indexes box, the application discards the difference from the oldest FASTA indexes the next time that you restart the application.
  9. If you changed any settings, select Apply.
  10. Select OK in the message box that opens.

  11. NOTE

    Select to return to the default values.

  12. Restart the application.
