To use an analysis as a template for reuse, you can save it as a .pdAnalysis template file. The .pdAnalysis template file saves the processing and consensus workflows, but not the input files nor the study variables that were selected to group the samples and quantification ratios.

NOTE

Studies and analyses in the Proteome Discoverer application are separate from one another. Saving a study does not save an analysis that has not been run, and saving an analysis does not save a study.

Procedure

  1. In the Analysis window, select Save.
  2. Navigate to the location where you want to save the template, and then enter or select the file name in the File Name box.
  3. The file type, PD Analysis File (*pdAnalysis), is selected by default.
  4. Select Save.
