Deconvolution Settings dialog box parameters
The following table describes the parameters you can adjust in the Deconvolution Settings dialog box.
Parameter |
Description |
|---|---|
Maximum Masses per Spectrum |
Specifies the maximum number of deconvolution results that can be returned. |
Minimum Required Charge States |
Specifies the minimum number of charge states that must be found for each mass result. |
Minimum Consecutive Charges |
Specifies the minimum number of consecutive charge states for each mass result. |
Minimum Signal-to-Noise |
Specifies the minimum signal to noise ratio that a data point needs to be processed with the deconvolution. |
Min/Max Mass |
Specifies the mass range considered by both the charge state and the isotope deconvolution algorithms. |
Min/Max Charge |
Specifies the charge range considered by both the charge state and the isotope deconvolution algorithms. |
Number of Peaks to Assess |
Specifies the number of "top" most abundant peaks that are used to find charge state distributions. |
Peak Tolerance |
Specifies the allowable tolerance for other masses to be included in a charge state distribution during charge state deconvolution. |
Low Number of Charge States |
When enabled, reduces the minimum number of charge states required to define a mass. |
Search for Additional Masses |
When enabled, searches the spectra near found masses for additional related proteoform masses. |
Range for Additional Masses |
Specifies the search range for additional masses in m/z. |
