For Intact Mass Analysis experiments, the Reporting utility offers the Autorepeat feature to optimize and streamline report creation for experiments containing multiple components and/or multiple raw data files. In the Report Designer, users can insert report elements and then designate the Autorepeat Area to include the elements of interest. Upon report generation, the report elements in the Autorepeat Area are produced for the selected components for all raw data files in the experiment.

The Autorepeat feature supports the following report elements:

  • Results table
  • Matched Charges table
  • Average DAR table
  • Deconvoluted spectrum
  • Source spectrum
  • MS2 spectrum
  • Abundance trace (for Sliding Windows experiments only)
  • Extracted ion chromatogram (XIC)

Create an Autorepeat report

Prerequisites

  1. You are connected to the Ardia Platform.
  2. You have processed an Intact Mass Analysis experiment and saved the results to the Ardia Platform data repository.
  3. You are viewing the experiment results on the Process and Review page.

Procedure

  1. On the Process and Review page, in the Results table, select the checkbox for the components you want to include in the report.
  2. Right-click anywhere in the Results table and select Add to Report from the shortcut menu, and then select All Results or Checked Results from the submenu as appropriate.
  3. IMPORTANT

For Intact Mass Analysis reports, the selected components are used as source information for all report elements automatically.

  4. Select the Report tab in the navigation bar.
  5. The Design page opens, showing a cell grid arrangement similar to an Excel spreadsheet.
  6. On the Design page menu bar, select the Insert subtab.
  7. One by one, insert the report elements you want to use in the Autorepeat report.
  8. See Insert a report table and Insert a report plot.

  10. Once you have added the appropriate report elements, click and drag your cursor over the entirety of the cell grid area that contains the Autorepeat elements.
  11. The selected cell grid area is shaded in blue.
  12. On the Design page menu bar, select the Page Layout subtab.
  13. On the Page Layout menu bar, select Autorepeat Area and then select Set Autorepeat Area from the dropdown menu.

  15. The Autorepeat Area Setup dialog box opens.
  16. In the Autorepeat Area Setup dialog box, specify the appropriate settings for the Autorepeat report and then select OK.
  17. Open the Preview page by selecting the Preview button in upper right corner of the Report page.
  18. The Preview page displays a preview of the Autorepeat report.
  19. IMPORTANT

The Preview page does not show all results for the report, only a preview of the data and layout.

  20. Save the report.
