On the Coverage page, the Coverage Results table displays the identified and unidentified proteins in the experiment at three levels. At the top-level, the table displays data at the protein level, followed by the raw data file level (for experiments with multiple raw data files), followed by the component level.

Prerequisites

  1. You have loaded the experiment results are viewing the Coverage page under the Mapping tab.

Procedure

  1. In the Coverage Results table, click the row of a protein, raw data file, or component.
  2. If you click a row at the protein (top) level, the information panes on the Coverage page populate with the protein coverage results for the selected protein.
  3. (For experiments with multiple raw data files) If you click a row at the raw data file (second) level, the information panes on the Coverage page populate with the raw data file-specific protein coverage results for the selected protein.
  4. If you click a row at the component (lowest) level, the information panes on the Coverage page populate with the raw data file-specific protein coverage results for the selected protein (see above), but the selected ion chromatogram (SIC) for the selected component is displayed in the Coverage Chromatogram pane. See View the Coverage chromatogram.
  5. NOTE

The numbers in the No. column of the Coverage Results table correspond to the chronological order of component detection during the MS experiment.

These numbers are different from the numbers in the No. column for the components of the Results table on the Process and Review page.

  6. For information regarding the parameters listed in the Coverage Results table at all three levels, see Coverage Results table parameters.
  7. For more information on the commands available in the Coverage Results table, see Coverage Results table commands.
  8. Click the plus icon (+) in the left margin of a row to view the lower-level information.
