On the Modification Results page, the Modification Components table displays the components related to the particular modification selected in the Modification Results table.

Prerequisites

  1. You have loaded the experiment results are viewing the Modification Summary page under the Mapping tab.

Procedure

  1. On the Modification Summary page, select the row of a modification in the Modification Results table.
  2. The Components table displays the components associated with the modification currently selected in the Modification Results table. These components are displayed in bolded blue text and their corresponding checkboxes are automatically selected.
  3. Below the selected components, the application lists the remaining components not involved in the selected modification in plain black text.
  4. The information in the Components table is similar to the information in the Results table on the Process and Review page, but is filtered to show only the components associated with the modification selected in the Modification Results table. For information regarding the information listed in the Components table, see View the Results tables.
  5. Components table, shown for an oligonucleotide analysis experiment

  6. (Optional) On the right side of the page, expand any of the following tabs:
  7. Chromatogram
  8. Peptide Match ID Details
  9. Trend Ratio (visible only for experiments with multiple raw data files)
  10. Trend MS Area (visible only for experiments with multiple raw data files)
  11. Peptide Sequence Coverage
  12. Protein Sequence
  13. Full Scan Spectra
  14. MS2 Spectra
  15. HCP Proteins (visible only for HCP experiments)
  16. These panes display information from the Process and Review page about the selected modified component.
  17. In the Components table, you can select the components used in the % Abundance calculation to update the Modification Results table. See Change the percent abundance calculation.
  18. You can export the information in the Components table as an Excel worksheet (.xlsx) or save the data to a peptide workbook (.wbpf). See Export the Components table data.
