If you enabled the host cell protein (HCP) search feature on the Host Cell Protein page of the processing method editing wizard, the results of your peptide mapping experiment includes the HCP results. The following procedure describes how to navigate to the Host Cell Protein Quantitation page to view the HCP search results.

For more detailed information about the results on the Host Cell Protein Quantitation page, see Mapping > Host Cell Protein Quantitation page.

Prerequisites

  1. For an HCP-enabled Peptide Mapping Analysis experiment, you have processed your experiment and are viewing the results on the Process and Review page.

Procedure

  1. From the Process and Review page, select the Mapping tab in the navigation bar.
  2. The Mapping page opens, displaying the Coverage subpage by default.
  3. Select the Host Cell Protein Quantitation subtab.
  4. This subtab appears only when you enable the HCP search feature on the Host Cell Protein page of the processing method editing wizard.
  5. The Host Cell Protein Quantitation subpage opens, displaying the Host Cell Protein Quantitation Results in a top table and bottom table.

  7. The top table displays the HCP experiment results, showing all proteins present in the sample.
  8. The bottom table displays all of the components that were identified and belong to that selected protein.
  9. In the bottom table, the components that contribute to the top three MS area calculations bolded blue.
