The Summary page displays the method parameters defined on the Global Parameters and Scan Parameters pages. You can view the information in two formats.

  • Document View: Presents the information as a structured document format. This view is displayed by default.
  • Tree View: Presents the information as a tree-based format.

Procedure

  1. In the Method Editor application window, select the Summary tab.
  2. Select the Document View tab or the Tree View tab, as applicable.

 

The following table describes the buttons in the Document View of the Summary page.

Button

Description

Print a summary report.

NOTE: The print function is available in both the Document View and Tree View.

Find (search) for a word or phrase.

Specify a search criteria in the field and press ENTER.

Select the down arrow to view the available search options. Select the left/right arrows to toggle through the results.

Select the display mode from the following options:

  • Page Mode
  • Two Page Mode
  • Scroll Mode

Move the slider or select the minus/plus signs to zoom in or out of the display.

NOTE: You can also use the mouse to increase or decrease the zoom. To do so, press and hold CTRL, then use the mouse wheel to scroll either forward to zoom in or backward to zoom out.
