The Method Editor displays a list of select predefined, application-specific system templates. You can modify the default system template parameters, create a custom workflow, and then save it as a new custom template (.exp file).
NOTE
Templates must be saved within the Templates directory under a subfolder. You can use the default "My Experiments" folder or you can create custom subfolder.
Procedure
- Select the Scan Parameters tab.
- Select the Templates View icon
located on the left-side pane. - Select a predefined template and create a custom workflow, as applicable.
- Select Save as Template (located above the System Templates area).
- Select the destination path, type a file name for the template, and then select Save.
- After the new template is saved, it is displayed under the Custom Templates area. You can import the template at a later time.
