Use the Sort by m/z filter to set the sorting order of the precursor ions by using their m/z values.

NOTE

To use the "Sort by m/z" and "Sort by Charge" filters in the same scan branch, you must add the "Sort by Charge" filter first.

 

The following table describes the parameters in the Sort by m/z Properties pane.

Select from the following options:

  • Highest m/z: Sorts the precursor ions from highest to lowest.
  • Lowest m/z (default): Sorts the precursor ions from lowest to highest.
