Even though view settings are a separate file object in Chromeleon CDS software, you typically adjust the view settings to a particular processing method or to a group of similar processing methods. The view settings contain information about which panes you have displayed in the Chromatography Studio, how you have configured the Chromatography Studio to display chromatograms and MS plots, and so on.
As a part of the view settings, consider making the following choices:
- If you select several injections or channels, you can display the chromatograms as stacked and without offset.
- In the Chromatogram pane, you can enable spectral thumbnails of the MS type.
- You can display the MS Components pane to be able to quickly inspect all XICs of any component.
- You can adjust the XICs as follows:
- In the MS Components pane, you can select Properties > Peak Characterization > Highlight identified peaks in all plots.
- In Properties > Peak Windows, you can select Show component windows and Show all peak window drop lines.
- In Properties > Peak Label, you can specify the label style for identified peaks.
- You can enable SmartLink to injections from the Mass Spectra pane.
- You can label even low-abundance ions in mass spectra by selecting Properties > Label in the Mass Spectra pane and by decreasing the Minimum threshold.
