The Design page contains the File, Home, Insert, Page Layout, Formulas, and Utilities subtabs.

You can switch between the Design and Preview subpages using the buttons in upper right corner of the Report page.
TIP
The BioPharma Finder Report utility has the same cell grid arrangement and similar features and commands found in an Excel spreadsheet.
The table below describes the tasks you can perform on the Design page.

Open | Open an existing report or report template from the Ardia Platform data repository. |
Save* | Save changes to the report template under the current file name. |
Save As* | Save changes to the report template under a new file name. |
Save Report* | Save the report. |

Undo/Redo | Undo or redo the previous action. |
Copy/Cut/Paste | Copy, cut, or paste the selected elements. |
Font (section) | Customize the font, size, color, and attributes of the selected text. |
Border (section) | Add and customize a border for the selected cells. |
Fill | Select a fill color for the selected cells. |
Alignment | Specify the spacial alignment for the selected text. |
Wrap Text | Wrap text so that it fits within the current cell width. |
Merge Cells | Merge multiple cells into a single cell. |
Insert | |
Create a new sheet in the report. Sheets appear tabbed at the bottom of the Design page. | |
Insert a table containing experiment results, processing parameters, etc. in the report. | |
Insert a plot such as a chromatogram, UV trace, etc. in the report. | |
Insert automated experiment information such as user name or report creation time in the report. | |
Insert a sequence coverage map for a specific raw data file in the report. | |
Column | Insert a blank column (bar) graph in the report. Choose a graph type from the dropdown menu. |
Line | Insert a blank line chart in the report. Choose a chart type from the dropdown menu. |
All Charts | Select an existing graph or chart in the report and then select All Charts to open the Change Chart Type window to view all possible graph and chart types. |
Picture | Insert a picture in the report. |
Page Layout | |
Margins* | Adjust the page margins (narrow, wide, or normal) of the report. |
Orientation* | Specify the page orientation (portrait or landscape) of the report. |
Print Area | Select a cell range and then select Print Area to set the selected area as the print area. From the dropdown menu, you can also show the print area for the current report sheet and release (remove) the print area as needed. |
Page Breaks | Select a cell range and then select Page Break to insert a page break in the report sheet. From the dropdown menu, you can also show all page breaks in the current report sheet and remove all or selected page breaks as needed. |
Print Title | Select entire column(s) or row(s) to specify the column and/or row titles that will print on each page when the printed sheet is larger than one page. From the dropdown menu, you can also show the print titles in the current report sheet and release (remove) the print titles as needed. |
Autorepeat Area* | Select a report element to apply the components sourced for that element to all report elements. |
Width* | Specify the width (in number of pages) of the report. |
Height* | Specify the height (in number of pages) of the report. |
Scale %* | Adjust the scale (zoom in/zoom out) of the report. |
Header & Footer* | Insert a header or footer in the report. |

Download | Download the current report template or report workbook to the Ardia Platform data repository. |
Upload | Upload a report template from the Ardia Platform data repository. |
